The mesh checking capability in
ANSYS FLUENT provides domain extents, volume statistics, mesh topology and periodic boundary information, verification of simplex counters, and (for axisymmetric cases) node position verification with respect to the
axis. You can obtain this information by clicking the
Check button in the
General task page.

It is generally a good idea to check your mesh right after reading it into the solver, in order to detect any mesh trouble before you get started with the problem setup.
