Lecture Plan and Teaching Material

 


Abstract: These two Lectures are intended to provide introductory material to theoretical methods in Hamiltonian mechanics and their application to the analysis of phase space transport processes in collisionless fusion plasmas.
 

Lectures:

 

   (I) Hamiltonian mapping techniques and applications to fusion plasmas (Lecture 1)

 

 

   (II) Nonlinear gyrokinetic theory and energetic particle transport (Lecture 2)
