17.4 Setting Up the Extended Coherent Flame Model

The Extended Coherent Flame Model (ECFM) solves a transport equation for the flame surface area density, denoted $\Sigma$, in addition to the reaction progress variable. Details about setting up the reaction progress variable boundary and initial conditions, and material properties, can be found in Section  17.3. When selecting Extended Coherent Flame Model as the Flame Speed Model, a list of ECFM Model Constants will appear in the Species Model dialog box.
