12.13.16 Subgrid-Scale Model

If you have selected the Large Eddy Simulation model, you will be able to choose one of the subgrid-scale models described in this section (in the separate Theory Guide). You can choose from the Smagorinsky-Lilly, WALE, or Kinetic-Energy Transport subgrid-scale models. Note that Dynamic Stress is an option available with the Smagorinsky-Lilly model, while the Kinetic-Energy Transport model is always run as a dynamic model.

These options will not appear unless you have activated the LES model.
