The
Point Surface dialog box allows you to interactively create point surfaces (surfaces containing a single data point). See Section
28.4 for details about the items below.
Controls
Options
contains options related to the point tool. See Section
28.4.1 for details about using this feature.
Point Tool
activates the point tool.
Reset
resets the point tool to its default position.
Coordinates
designates the coordinates of the point in the surface (
x0,
y0,
z0).
Select Point with Mouse
activates the selection of the point with the mouse. You can select a point by clicking on a location in the active window with the mouse-probe button. (See Section
29.3 for information about setting mouse button functions.)
New Surface Name
designates the name of the new surface. The default is the concatenation of the surface type and an integer which is the new surface ID.
Create
creates the surface.
Manage...
opens the
Surfaces dialog box in which you can rename and delete surfaces and determine their sizes.
