TEXT COLLECTIONS

The collection of cuneiform texts of the Museo delle Antichita' di Torino - with its 786 tablets - is the largest collection in Italy.

MAT and CDLI
The MAT cuneiform collection was scanned in 2011 and received uploads and revisions, within a cooperation agreement between the Directorate General of Antiquities of Piedmont and the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative (CDLI) - see here.
727 tablets belong to the UR III period (ca. 2100-2000 BC)
In TIGRIS, transliterated e-texts of MAT cuneiform collection were preprocessed to be analysed by TaLTaC2.

Adhering to the principle of the Open Archive Initiative (OAI) for the Open Access of research outputs - in TIGRIS, ENEA shares knowledge extracted from transliterated cuneiform texts and data.
ENEA invites the Assyriological Community to collaborate in crowdsourcing in the TIGRIS Virtual Lab activities, integrating and reviewing e-texts collections (transliterations, translations, lemmatizations) and linguistic data. Collaborations are welcomed.
