PLUS Collaboration has the aim to promote Italian activities in Plasma Physics, especially with respect to cross-fertilization between Laboratory and Astrophysical scenarios. The main effort is to develop joint projects among different Institutions, supported by a funding programme, mainly devoted to the recruitment of valuable young researchers in the themes of PLUS interest.

We plan to facilitate exchange of information and competences among different fields inherent Plasma Physics, via periodic workshops and thematic meetings. These activities are designed to be prodromic to the set up of research projects having integrated expertise and therefore suitable for support from competitive funding procedures.

Main areas of interest: Acceleration in Plasmas; Accretion onto Compact Objects; Physics of Fusion and Diagnostic Devices; Self-Gravitating Systems
