This work can be performed using a PIC 16F84 processor with LED connected to three output pins. We are using PORTA BIT 0, 1 and 2 which means that you should use pins 17, 18 and 1 of the 16F84 as the output. The LEDs should be connected between each output pin and pin 5 of the PICmicro, with a suitable current limiting resistor in series with each.

Click on the "PICmicro Configuration button" located above the contents tree, select the RC oscillator and click 'OK'.
