PICmicros and this CD

Since PICmicro microcontrollers were first introduced by Arizona Microchip, they have created intense interest, from industrial product designers to students of electronics at all levels.

Whilst there are several programs, books and PICmicro development kits that allow the very determined user to learn PICmicro programming, we found that there was no comprehensive hardware and software bundle that helped users understand the PICmicro from the very basics of its nature and start to develop projects without any previous experience of microcontrollers.

The aim of this package is to redress this situation.

This CD ROM details the essence of programming PICmicros in a practical down-to-earth fashion, telling you, step by step, how to get started with writing simple programs, and develop your understanding of how to use PICmicros in considerably more sophisticated control situations.

The printed circuit board that we have designed (the 'development board') to go with this CD ROM can be used to both learn how the PICmicro works and can be used as a development kit for many of your future PICmicro projects.

PICmicros are powerful electronics design tools with a myriad of potential applications.
