Graduated cum laude in Physics at the Pavia University, Pavia (Italy): Thesis in Neutron Spectrometry field."Studio teorico e sperimentale di un metodo spettrometrico per neutroni veloci". The computational part of the thesis was performed at the Ispra JRC.

Euratom fellowship at CEA Fontenay-aux-roses, France:
research work on Neutral Beam Injection systems and NBI diagnostics, in the Controlled Nuclear Fusion domain.
