Matlab User Documentation on CRESCO Systems

Matlab is available for ENEAGRID users through the CRESCO systems.
It can be accessed via a Faro xTerm or an SSH connection on every CRESCO frontend.

Installed versions:

Several versions of Matlab are available for ENEAGRID users, some of which are reserved to particular users that have provided the licenses to the ENEAGRID environment.

Currently (July 2020) on CRESCO are available:

All users can run the 2008a and 2011b versions;
To run one of them it can be used the same command "matlab". This command, given without parameters, shows a table that summarize the license availability for each version and each package/Toolbox at that specific moment.
The user then is asked which version to run.

The newer versions, 2015a and 2020a, are restricted to users authorized to run these software.
If a user is not allowed to run a specific version, the error "Permission denied" will be prompted.

To view the report of the current license usage of all the versions, run the command:

"licenze matlab"

on any CRESCO terminal.
