CRESCO MONITORING

A set of tests have been developed for monitoring the status of some important components of the CRESCO cluster. Many things need to be working properly for CRESCO being fully efficient, like network connections, communication protocols (SSH etc.), the scheduler (LSF), the parallel file systems (GPFS) etc. These tests are useful both for users and administrators. The user with an ENEA AFS account can start a test by typing testforcresco at the command line prompt.
